ALLY MOTORCYCLE AND ELECTRIC BIKE GENERAL WARRANTY PRINCIPLES
Important Considerations:
- Pre-Purchase:
- Customers should carefully inspect the vehicle’s exterior condition and perform a test drive.
- Customers should request that the salesperson provide instructions on proper vehicle operation and maintenance.
- Post-Purchase:
- Customers should thoroughly read the user manual and understand the important points regarding vehicle usage and maintenance.
- When lending the vehicle to others, customers should provide proper operating instructions and refrain from lending to individuals without legal capacity or traffic participation rights according to the law.
- Warranty Issues:
- During vehicle usage, if warranty issues arise, customers should bring the vehicle and warranty booklet to the nearest authorized dealer.
- Customers should avoid unauthorized repairs or part replacements at non-company affiliated stores.
- Out-of-Warranty Repairs:
- For damages outside the warranty scope or period, the Company and its dealers will still repair or replace with genuine parts if the customer agrees, subject to the Company’s listed price.
Warranty Exclusions:
- Customers who do not provide the warranty booklet or whose registration information is not in the company’s warranty system; warranty booklets with erased or altered information. (Dealers must request customers to provide complete information according to the form and send it to the company immediately after purchase).
- Cases of force majeure, such as fire, flood, lightning, or accidents.
- Naturally, wearing parts and components, including fuses, fuse boxes, bulbs, brake pads, brake cables, footrests, pedals, inner tubes, tires, nuts, horns and horn switches, wires, plugs, paint, and plastic covers.
- Scratches, dents, or fractures that occur after vehicle receipt and are not covered by the warranty.
- Malfunctions caused by improper usage, maintenance, or storage as per the company’s instructions; customers who perform their removal, repair, or replacement of spare parts, which then causes vehicle damage.
- Cases of vehicle misuse, such as exceeding speed or load limits.
- The company reserves the right to modify warranty conditions without prior notice.
FOR MOTORCYCLES
Usage Advice
Periodic Motorcycle Oil Change
Recommendations for 4-Stroke Engine Oil and Filter Change
- First Change:
- After the first 500 to 1000 km of use.
- Change engine oil.
- Change the fine oil filter (if applicable).
- Clean the oil filter screen (if applicable).
- Subsequent Changes:
- Change the motorcycle oil every 2000-3000 km of use.
- Change the fine oil filter (if applicable) every 6000 km of use.
- Clean the oil filter screen (if applicable) every 6000 km.
Note: The oil change interval may be shortened under harsh operating conditions or in dusty environments.
Brake Pad Wear Inspection
Over time, brake pads wear down due to use. Therefore, regular inspection and maintenance extends the braking system components’ lifespan and ensures safety during operation. Brake pad wear inspection is relatively easy and can be done by customers.
There are two types of brakes: Drum brakes and Disc brakes.
- Brake pad wear indicator pin
- Brake pad wear limit line
- Front brake pad wear indicator groove
Note: To extend the lifespan of braking system components:
- Use both brakes (front and rear) simultaneously with gradually increasing braking force.
- When descending hills or slopes, use engine braking in conjunction with the brakes (shift to a lower gear).
- Regularly inspect and maintain the braking system and change brake fluid periodically.
- Clean dirt and sand from the braking system after riding in rainy or muddy conditions.
- Use and replace braking system components with genuine parts to ensure safety for yourself and other road users.
Warranty and Maintenance Policy
All new motorcycles produced by Đồng Minh Company, purchased from authorized Đồng Minh dealers, are registered for warranty and issued a warranty booklet to enjoy maintenance services (free adjustment or replacement of any parts damaged due to manufacturer’s defects – excluding items outside the general warranty scope mentioned in the general warranty principles section) within the specified period. The warranty period is one (1) year or the first 10,000km, whichever comes first (*).
FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES
Usage Advice
Riding the Vehicle
- When the vehicle starts, you should accelerate slowly. Avoid immediately turning the throttle to its maximum to prevent damage to the electrical components and waste of electricity, as well as to ensure safety.
- During use, minimizing braking and frequent starts will save electricity.
- Do not exceed the manufacturer’s permitted load capacity.
- Use lights and horn signals to ensure safety when participating in traffic.
Stopping the Vehicle
- When stopping the vehicle or getting off to push it, you should turn off the power switch to avoid accidentally twisting the throttle, causing the vehicle to suddenly start, which could be dangerous.
- It is advisable to lock the steering and the rear wheel to ensure the safety of your vehicle.
Charging Instructions
Method 1:
- Bring the vehicle close to an indoor electrical outlet. Prepare the charger, ensuring the cord is not stretched tightly.
- After completing the connection, the Power indicator light on the charger will illuminate red, indicating power input.
- After charging for approximately 7 hours, the indicator light on the charger will turn green, indicating the battery is fully charged.
- The charger is designed with a self-protection and automatic shut-off mechanism when fully charged. This means that after the battery is fully charged, we can extend the charging time to 10 hours without affecting the battery’s lifespan.
Method 2:
- Remove the battery from the vehicle and charge it.
- Never tilt the battery upside down during charging. Place the battery on a flat and level surface, insert one end of the charger into the socket on the battery, and plug the other end of the charger into a power outlet (220V-50Hz).
Important Notes for Charging:
- During charging, place the charger in a safe location, away from children’s reach.
- Only use the charger supplied with your vehicle, ensuring it matches the vehicle’s power specifications and is compatible with the battery’s capacity.
- During use and transport, ensure the charger is placed on a stable, level surface to prevent falls or impacts that may cause damage.
- Prevent water or any liquid from entering the charger. During charging, do not cover the charger with any materials.
- Keep the charger in a dry, well-ventilated area.
- If the charger becomes excessively hot or emits a strange odor during charging, stop charging immediately and send the charger to a dealer for inspection.
